A founding member of Placeholdr, Robin Keaton is proficient in the electric, steel string, and classical guitar. Before Placeholdr, she performed in theatre pit orchestras and on stage as a solo classical guitarist and singer-songwriter. She excels mostly in the contemporary and pop genre as Placeholdr’s lead guitarist, as well as a heavy contributor to the songwriting aspect of the band. She also occasionally takes on the role of lead vocals. She has an associate’s degree in Guitar Performance, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Music Composition. She loves Magic: the Gathering, margaritas, and her cat, Millie.
